Identify that Mystery Bird with rightbird
Customers are always calling or coming in with questions about bird identification. There are a lot of birds out there, and it's difficult to keep track of all of them. There are many colors and sizes. Some are here year-round. Others may pass through for a day and then not come back until that time next year.
We really enjoy the process of helping to identify birds and now we have a new bird identification tool on our website.
Rightbird.com is an online field guide that can be accessed directly through the store’s website [gainesville.wbu.com] and clicking the ‘Identify a Mystery Bird’ tab on the left side of the homepage.
You’ll provide information about your mystery bird by selecting from a menu of attributes such as color, wing shape and size; rightbird will narrow it down for you. The more characteristics you know, the narrower the search is for the "right bird." And with rightbird's audible bird call samples, you can also hear the sounds made by your mystery bird.
We love mysteries but prefer to solve them.
